Details
Appearance:
Tina stands at 5'3", a depressing height for her since she's not too fond of being short. Her body is of average build but her waist is slightly smaller than she'd like it to be, making her hips look a bit too big. She's not flat chested nor is her chest overly large, though it is one the larger end of the spectrum. Tina has light brown skin, she often compares the color of her skin to caramel. Her eyes are a dark brown, much to her distaste. And her hair is a very deep black that falls in waves around her face in multiple layers.
Attire:
Tina often wears shorts, a tank top and a cropped jacket thrown over top. In cooler months she wears jeans, turtle necks and faux fur trimmed jackets. Tina is mostly about accessories, finding that they're her favorite parts of her outfits. Most commonly she wears fingerless gloves, knee socks, knee high boots, and lots of belts. Her bag is probably the only thing that will never change. She's had the same white bag for quite some time now. Two charms hang off her bag, one of a star the other of a moon. The charms match her necklaces. She also wears a white ribbon choker around her neck and a bow in her hair.
Personality:
Tina is kind to all Pokemon, regarding them with the same respect and gentleness she shows to others. She has a knack for getting along with just about any Pokemon, this has allowed her to catch numerous Pokemon. Along with being kind to Pokemon, Tina is also kind to other people. She finds it hard to just randomly hate someone, though certain few have pushed her past her limits and have made it onto her "hate list". Tina is competitive and won't easily back down from a challenge. She doesn't like to rush into things and often deliberates things for a long time. She'd rather go into a situation well prepared than unprepared at all. Cute things get the better of her and she can't help but go nuts over them. She is a girl after all and a very girly-girl at that. When it comes to Red, Tina can be very protective and possessive of him.
Relationship:
• Red: Childhood friend and, now, her boyfriend. The two have travelled together from the start of their journey to become Pokemon Masters. Along the way they've battled and become quiet competitive with one another.
• Green: Once a friend from childhood, now a rival. Tina doesn't know what made Green suddenly pick on Red and herself but he didn't stop when they went their separate ways. He remains their rival to this day.
• Whitney: Gym Leader of Goldenrod City and one of Tina's closest friends. Although she doesn't get to see Whitney very often, the two still chat every day. They both enjoy shopping together, cute Pokemon, and cute boys.
• Jasmine: Gym Leader of Olivine City and another friend of Tina's. Jasmine's love for Pokemon and her kindness toward them is what compelled Tina to try and be the gym leader's friend.
• Misty: Gym Leader of Cerulean City. Something about Misty just doesn't work with Tina. Whether it's Misty's cocky attitude or her extreme love for Water-type Pokemon that insist on dousing the flames of her Fire-types, Tina really doesn't know. She just knows that she will never be friends with Misty.
Most Commonly Used Pokemon:
• Luna / Umbreon /Female: Her first Pokemon now evolved into an Umbreon who's afraid of her own shadow. Really, she is. Childish, carefree, and slightly annoying. That just about sums up what Luna is. Luna doesn't like to battle but if provoke(or yelled at by Tina) she will. Luna wears a ribbon around her neck, tied in a bow. She insists on wearing a different color ribbon everyday and throws a fit if her demand is not met.
• Rico / Charizard / Male: The brawn of Tina's team. Rico is Tina's main form of transportation, best fighter and fearless hero. Not to mention he's the only boy on the team. Rico has a bit of a temper and it often shows when Luna pushes his buttons.
• Violet / Vileplume / Female: Sweet and innocent, that's Violet. She's a quiet Pokemon that enjoys picking flowers, collecting berries and playing pretend. She's a bit oblivious and clumsy as she tends to trip over things, like air. When thrown into battle, she's not the greatest fighter but she tries her best and that's all that matters to Tina.
• Celia / Dewgong / Female: Classy, elegant, and a damn good fighter. Celia, while keeping a regal appearance, can throw down in a battle. She's not a afraid to get dirty and will show others that she's more than just a pretty Pokemon. Unlike the rest of Tina's Pokemon, Celia is the only one that can lose a fight gracefully.
• Lexi / Luxray / Female: Lexi hatched from an egg given to Tina by someone in Ecruteak City. More than shocked that the Pokemon was from a region far away, Tina didn't know much about Lexi and so raising her was difficult. Lexi quickly showed her personality; a hot-headed, take charge Shinx that very quickly evolved into a fearsome Luxray. Lexi is easily provoked and very quick to zap anyone who pisses her off.
• Dahlia / Delcatty / Female: Tina found Dahlia as an injured Skitty in Mt. Moon. Whether she was a wild Skitty or someone's Pokemon, Tina didn't know. She nursed the Pokemon back to health but never found a trainer who was looking for a lost Skitty. Though Dahlia didn't seem to want to leave. Keeping the Pokemon, Tina named her Dahlia. Dahlia evolved into a Delcatty and became quiet close with Celia. Both Pokemon seemed to like the finer things in life. Classy and elegant just like Celia but a little hot-headed like Lexi and Rico.
Other Pokemon:
• Cato / Houndoom / Male
• Analiya / Zoroark / Female
• Vivienne / Ninetales /Female
• Aurora / Rapidash / Female
• Raizel / Serperiror / Male
• Xander / Typhlosion / Male
• Nero / Mighyena / Male

History:
Tina was born in the Jhoto Region, in Azalea Town to be exact. When her mother got a new, better job in Kanto her family moved. Tina was only three at the time, so she didn't miss Jhoto all that much but she never lost her love for the region. Growing up in Pallet Town, Tina quickly became friends with Red and later Green. As they got older, Green started to pick on the two and soon enough they weren't friends anymore. When the trio turned 11, they received their first Pokemon from Professor Oak. The first to choose, Tina ended up with a female Eevee she later named Luna. Green chose the remaining Eevee and Red took home a Pikachu. Green soon became Tina and Red's rival, challenging them at every step. When Green set off on his own, the two decided to travel together. They became quiet competitive with one another, racing to see who would become a Pokemon Master first.
When the two were 13, they shared their first kiss in a cave on a stormy day. It wasn't until months later that they kissed again and then became a couple. Though it wasn't anything serious until they got older. By the time they were 16 the two seemed inseparable. Until Red defeated Tina, taking her title of Kanto's Pokemon Champion. Much stronger than her, Tina knew she wouldn't be able to defeat Red and reclaim her title. So instead she left, traveling to her home region where she claimed the title of Jhoto's Pokemon Champion. After doing so, she challenged Red to a rematch but in the years that passed he had gotten stronger. A bit of a blow to her pride but she pushed it aside and looked on to other feats. Later she won the Grand Festival, all the while still holding her title as Jhoto's Pokemon Champion.
Now, with two titles under her belt and a zoo full of Pokemon waiting for her at Professor Oak's lab, Tina travelled back to Kanto. She hardly expected to see Red waiting for her in Pallet Town when she returned. Now together again, the two are taking a bit of a break from their training to just relax and spend some time together.
Role Play Sample
The Dewgong threaded water as best she could but the waves kept crashing down on her, pulling her and her trainer back under the raging sea. Tina held onto Celica for dear life while clutching her PokeGear in one hand. It was a waterproof device but how well would it hold up under all the rain and being towed underwater so many times? She tried to call Red several times and either lost signal or he didn’t answer. She tried again though, this time it rang but he still didn’t answer. “Answer me, Red!” She was desperate. Celia wouldn’t last much longer and Rico wouldn’t survive the rain. She needed help but she couldn’t find any. Tina tried calling Red and anyone else she could think of again but still couldn’t get through with anyone. A wave came down on them again, pulling trainer and Pokemon under the water.

Tina opened her eyes, her vision blurry. She tried to sit up but the movement brought a wave of nausea which caused her to lie back down. Her vision slowly came into focus and she could make out familiar things. Like the purple and teal curtains that were drawn back to let the light in. The massive collection of plush toys on every shelf around the room. And finally the Umbreon sleeping at her feet.
“Luna? How did we get home?” She asked, though the Umbreon was sound asleep.
“I brought you home.”
Surprised, Tina nearly fell out of bed. She kicked the sheets and Luna woke with a cry and jumped off the bed, running across the room to where Red sat on the window seat. Red hugged the Umbreon, running his hand along her back as he tried to soothe her.
“Geez, Red! Don’t scare me like that!” She screamed and wished she hadn’t. The pain in her head was intense and throbbed painfully against her skull. Tina frowned and closed her eyes and rubbed at her temples.
Red stood, leaving Luna on the window seat and crossed over to Tina’s bed. He sat down next to her and wrapped his arms around her. She didn’t fight him and wrapped her own arms around him, burying her face in the hollow of his neck.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t get to you sooner. Apparently PokeGears don’t get good service on mountain tops.” He held her tight, too afraid to let go of her. He could have lost her if he hadn’t gotten her messages in time.
“But you still saved me.” And then something occurred to her. “Celia! Is she okay!?” She pulled away from him too quickly and dizziness swept over her. Her nails bit into his flesh and she tried to steady herself.
Red held her and caressed the side of her face with one hand. “She’s fine. I took her to the Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy will call when she’s all patched up. But you need to keep calm. You’re still in pretty bad shape.” He gently guided her back to the bed. “Just rest, okay? Your mom’s making you soup. When you wake up it’ll be ready.”
